Sheep Milk Cheese Pizza

Homemade Pizza with Sheep Cheese

Units Scale


  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 pkg instant yeast
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour


  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

Suggested Toppings

  • 1 200g block sheep cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup fried hamburger or sausage
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 tbsp chopped peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits fried



  1. In a mixing bowl mix first 5 ingredients.  Sprinkle 1 cup flour mixed with yeast on top. Mix well.
  2. Change beaters to dough hook or use hands and gradually add the rest of the flour while mixing. Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 15 min.
  3. Prepare sauce and toppings.


  1. Grease a large pizza pan or cookie sheet. Roll out dough with rolling pin or stretch it with floured fingers. Transfer to pan and pat to fit. Let rise 15 minutes. Bake at 425* for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Spread sauce on crust. Top with your favourite toppings. Bake again for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
