
Turkish Adana kebabs are known for bold spices, smoky flavour, and perfectly grilled lamb.
Traditionally made with hand-minced lamb mixed with red pepper and spices, these kebabs are grilled overopen flame until lightly charred and juicy.
Served with flatbread, grilled vegetables, and fresh herbs, they are one of Turkey’s most iconic street and restaurant foods.
Ingredients
2 lbs ground lamb
1 small onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp salt
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Mix thoroughly until sticky.
Shape onto skewers.
Grill over medium-high heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
Serve with flatbread and grilled vegetables.
